Lisa Daigle has been writing and editing on the subjects of food, drink, technology, and education since Julia Child was alive, storage was measured in bytes, and classrooms had chalkboards. Her editorial past includes such ventures as Educational IT, Brunder, Computer Design, and Local Food Journal; while her present consists of writing about local breweries and the connection to their communities (LoveLocalBeer.com).

She recently learned the right way to eat an oyster (ice-cold, no sauce) and found that beer, not champagne, is their perfect companion; she’s also willing to do some extensive research on that subject if anyone disagrees…

Lisa believes in the existence of the serial comma, likes Roman ruins that you can walk up to and touch, and thinks the word “sparge” is funny every time.
